Q.Does the price include set up and delivery?
A.Yes, although additional fees may apply for areas farther out from our normal delivery area, which includes Viera, Melbourne, Palm Bay, Grant-Valkaria and Sebastian. Remember prices do not include sales tax.
Q.Do you deliver to other cities?
A.Yes, but once again please be aware that due to rising gas prices and the possible need for an extra truck and labor that travel fees can be quite high. Please call our office for a current quote.
Q.Do you require a deposit?
A.Yes all orders require a 20% Credit Card deposit.
Q.What payments do you take?
A.Cash or Credit Cards. If paying by cash, please have exact change as we do not carry cash.
Q.What about parks?
A.We love setting up at parks but most parks typically do NOT have electricity or water available (or available to you at an additional cost). If you want to set up at a park without electric available, you must rent a generator. We rent generators at a reasonable cost. Also, be sure to reserve a spot at the park by contacting your county or city's Parks and Rec department.
While slides can be used dry if no water is available, we will NOT be able to setup a foam party without both electric and water, so be sure to check with the Park and Rec office for your rental location if this is needed.

Q.Can we see a copy of your contract and safety rules?
A.Yes. There is a link in your receipt once you've ordered or you may contact our office.
Q.What if we need to cancel?
A.
Cancellations with at least 7 days notice
A rain check valid for 1 year will be issued in the amount of the deposit.
Cancellations with less than 7 days notice
The deposit will be forfeited and no rain check will be issued.
Cancellations the day of event or at delivery
The deposit will be forfeited and a $50 charge will be issued to the credit card used at the time of reservation.
Weather Cancellations
If the weather forecast is determined to be SEVERE (50% chance or higher of heavy rain, lightning, high winds, all day rain), a customer can request a cancellation by calling The Proper Bounce Company, LLC at 321-872-7070 by NOON the day before the event. A rain check valid for 1 year will be issued in the amount of the deposit. In addition, The Proper Bounce Company, LLC reserves the right to cancel in the event of severe weather on the day of delivery.
Florida weather changes day to day. We encourage our customers to watch the weather reports right up to the day prior to their event before calling to cancel! Pay attention to the TIME of expected poor weather. Most times the severe weather is not expected during your party times. We unfortunately have had customers in the past cancel the day before against our recommendations only to have perfect weather on their event day and call to ask for a delivery we can't make.

Bounce House FAQ
Q.What is the duration of the bounce house rental?
A.All our bounce house, combo and waterslide rentals are rent one day, get the 2nd day free (residential rentals only).. We begin our deliveries starting at 7:30 - 8am and start pickups at 5:30 - 6pm the next day. For park rentals, the rental period is for the duration of your party (we will set up 30-60 minutes prior to your party start time and arrive at the party end time to pick up)

When making your reservation, we do ask for you event start and end times and we will make sure your rental is delivered and set up no less than an hour before your event start time.
When checking out be sure to let us know if the event is at a park, so we know to arrive closer to your event time to ensure someone is there for drop-off and pick-up so it's not left unattended.

Q.When do you set up?
A.That depends on how many rentals we have that day. Generally we arrive 1-3 hours before the rental time begins. If we have a lot of rentals that day, we may need to set up as early as 4 hours in advance. If this is the case, we will call the Friday before to confirm that someone will be at the party location.
Q.We've rented some really dirty jumps from other companies in the past. Are they always that dirty?
A.No. The jump should be clean when you get it. The Proper Bounce Company cleans and disinfects after every rental. In addition we do another wipe down after setting up.
Q.Do we have to keep the bounce house plugged in the entire time?
A.When in use, the blower keeps air in the jump unit the entire time. Once unplugged they deflate. That's why we require an outlet within 50 feet of the unit or a generator. Longer cords can pop your circuit breaker so we bring our own heavy duty cords.
In the case of an overnight/multi-day rental, the blower may be turned off while not in use and turned back on later. The unit may require some adjustments to fully inflate in the event some of the towers get stuck on each other during the process, but this is typically not a big deal and a simple tug on them to will free them from each other.
We do ask that the blower be left on and inflated prior to arrival to pick it up. This allows the unit to dry out and makes it easier for us to clean and disinfect if for the next customer.

Q.How big are the bounce houses?
A.Our standard bounce houses (without a slide) are 13'x13' while the combos (with the slides) are roughly 13'x25' depending on the unit. Please note the space required for each jump (listed near the large picture) they do require extra space. When in doubt, measure your space to make sure it will fit. Bounce houses need room to be staked and they need room for the blower and can't rub against walls or trees as this may damage the jump. The sizes listed with each jump include the space needed for stakes etc. If you have stairs or a tiered backyard, please call our office to discuss options for setup.
Q.What surfaces do you set up on?
A.We can set up on Grass (our favorite and best for the kids), dirt, asphalt, and concrete. Sorry, we can't set up on any type of rocks as the constant rubbing will wear through the vinyl jumps.
If setting up on asphalt or concrete, we require solid places to tie off on (such as poles, fenceposts, etc). This is for your safety as strong winds can move the bounce house around causing a dangerous situation.
Note that we will NOT use sandbags as they are not as safe as staking or tying off, as well as the amount and weight required to replace a single stake (in some cases, requiring 200lbs of sand to replace a single stake, and some of our units have 12 or more anchor/stake points)

Q.Are we responsible for the unit if it gets a tear or damaged in any way?
A.Yes and no. You are not responsible for normal wear and tear on our units. Seams may develop tears in high traffic areas over a period of time. If this happens please alert us at once so we can remedy the situation. If however, damage occurs due to failure to follow our safety rules or negligence (i.e. not turning off the blower in high winds, using glitter, face paint, silly string or failing to adhere to weight guidelines)) you will be responsible for all damages up to and including replacement of the unit/blower etc which can cost thousands of dollars. We don't want you or us to be in that situation which is why we have you sign and initial on all of our safety rules so that you can be the trained operator.
Foam Party FAQ
Q.Does the rental/party time include your set up time?
A.No, we will arrive about 30-40 minutes prior to the event to set up, answer any questions, and test the equipment.
Q.How much foam does the machine produce?
A.A lot. The foam cannon can cover a wide area with foam, and it can also stack it several feet deep. We do pay attention and make it age appropriate, so you don't have to worry about your little ones getting lost under 6 feet of foam. Unless you want that then we are happy to accommodate.
Q.What kind of events are best for foam parties?
A.Foam parties are great for all kinds of events, including birthday parties, night clubs, dance parties, festivals, and even dog parties (dogs love the foam!). We also are able to color the foam blue, pink, green, orange or purple for an additional fee, which is perfect for little girl or boy parties or even gender reveals. We also offer night time UV Glow Foam parties complete with black lights, light up beach balls and glowsticks..

Q.Is the foam safe for contact with skin and eyes? Clothes? Grass and landscaping?
A.Our foam solution is non-toxic, hypo-allergenic and environmentally friendly, so there shouldn’t be any irritation if it contacts your skin or eyes. Everyone should be fine playing in the bubbles. It will not harm grass/landscaping either and will not stain clothes.
Note that the color and UV Glow Foam should wash out of clothes, but we like to caution it may stain in some instances. We also do not like to use these on porous surfaces such as natural stone (pavers should be okay), just to avoid the off-chance of it leaving a slight stain.
While the foam is perfectly save for pools, we will not blow foam into/onto the pool (for safety reasons). However, many people like to rinse off in their pool or go back and forth between the pool and the foam party, and there is no harm in that.

Q.How long does the foam last?
A.Left alone, the foam will last a couple of hours. However once guests interact with it, the bubbles start to pop and break up. The more people play in the foam, the quicker it will dissolve, but don't worry: the machine will generate it much faster than it will dissolve. Any leftover foam will evaporate within an hour or so.
Q.Will the foam cause you to slip?
A.Foam is about as slippery as water, so it’s possible to slip if you’re on long grass or a smooth, glossy surface such as glazed tile. To prevent slipping, we recommend guests avoid running in foamy areas.
Q.Where should we hold a foam party? Can we hold a foam party indoors?
A.Foam parties can be hosted on grass, asphalt, concrete, etc. Foam is about as slippery as water, so we recommend not running in the foam area.
While foam parties can be held indoors, it does require a large space such as community center or gymnasium, It would be best to place the foam machine on an easy-to-clean surface for indoor foam parties, such as tile or linoleum. Because the floor will get wet, it's best to avoid holding your foam party on a wood floor or carpeting. If you elect to hold an indoor party, we are not responsible for any damages to the floor or cleanup (again, it does get wet and will need to be squeegeed or mopped up afterwards).
